DETERMINAÇÃO DO TEMPO DE PASSAGEM EM JORNADA DE MAQUINISTAS PARA O INÍCIO DO SERVIÇO EM TREM
Este trabalho teve como objetivo apresentar a aplicação do modelo de regressão linear para a determinação do tempo de passagem em jornada de maquinistas antes do serviço em trem dadas as variáveis headcount e volume de cargas a ser transportado. Foram realizadas tanto uma regressão linear simples quanto uma múltipla a fim de ser determinar qual modelo gera os melhores resultados. As análises foram feitas a partir de dados do transporte ferroviário de cargas no estado no Rio de Janeiro entre os períodos de 2012 e 2014.

Abstract:
This study aims to present an application of linear regression in order to determine the passage time of train crew before they start their service in train. For that, both headcount and the amount of goods transported by train were used in a simple linear regression and a multivariate linear regression to test which one would generate the best results. The analysis was done with data of rail freight transport in the state of Rio de Janeiro between 2012 and 2014.
