Abstract: The constant difficulties faced by students in learning and performing calculations in physics are a problem observed in a large part of Brazilian schools, whether public or private. These learning deficiencies promote the need for a new approach to teaching to facilitate and stimulate student interest in this discipline. In this project, we propose the use of an interactive medium to encourage students to dedicate themselves to learning physics using this method. To aid in the teaching and learning of vector quantities in the Physics discipline at the high school level, the development of a Virtual Learning Object (VLO) is proposed, which consists of an interactive didactic device aimed at teaching a school subject in an "informal" and attractive manner. Although there are already some learning objects that simulate disciplinary physical realms, the VLO in question will focus on learning Vector Quantities, a subject that requires more mathematical skill and knowledge. For the construction of this resource, the Python programming language will be used, as this language aims for productivity and readability, in addition to offering resources that assist in programming the graphical part. Alongside the development in Python, the Pygame library will be employed, an external mechanism to the aforementioned programming language, which manages multimedia resources, aiding in graphical development in more complex tasks. By combining these tools, the aim is to achieve a VLO that assists in the study of Vector Quantities.
