DESENVOLVIMENTO DE EMULSÃO HIDRATANTE A BASE DE ÓLEO VEGETAL Attalea ssp. (BABAÇU)
A pele é a barreira de proteção para entrada de substâncias, a
perda de água caracteriza a pele seca, requerindo formulações hidratantes
com substâncias emolientes. O óleo de babaçu apresenta propriedades
emolientes, hidratando a pele. Desenvolveu-se emulsões com e sem óleo debabaçu, verificou-se o grau de hidratação em pele de porco (ex vivo). Utilizou-se o método inversão de fases para as emulsões, e aparelho Skin Detector para analisar grau de hidratação na pele de porco. A emulsão com óleo de babaçu apresentou maior grau de hidratação comparada a sem óleo de
babaçu.

Abstract:
The skin is the protective barrier for the entry of substances, the loss of water characterizes dry skin, requiring moisturizing formulations with emollient substances. Babassu oil has emollient properties, moisturizing the skin. Emulsions developed with and without babassu oil, the degree of hydration in pig skin (ex vivo) was verified. The phase inversion method was used for emulsions, and the Skin Detector apparatus was used to analyze the degree of hydration in pig skin. The emulsion with babassu oil showed a higher degree of hydration compared to without babassu oil.
