DESENVOLVIMENTO DA NEUROPLASTICIDADE NA PERSPECTIVA DO TRATAMENTO TERAPÊUTICO OCUPACIONAL EM PACIENTES PÓS AVC
Pode-se dizer que a neuroplasticidade é a capacidade de adaptação do sistema nervoso, especialmente a dos neurônios, às mudanças nas condições do ambiente que ocorrem no dia a dia da vida dos indivíduos. Esse fenômeno é muito visível quando o cérebro sofre algum tipo de lesão, como é o caso do Acidente Vascular Cerebral, onde a neuroplasticidade deve ocorrer após este episódio e permanece mais efetiva com a reabilitação. Este trabalho teve como objetivo compreender o processo da neuroplasticidade e as intervenções da Terapia Ocupacional com pacientes que sofreram AVC. Tratase de um estudo quantiqualitativo, de natureza descritiva, e revisão integrativa de literatura. Foi realizada pesquisa na Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS), Scielo e Google Acadêmico, utilizando os descritores: Terapia Ocupacional, Neuroplasticidade e AVC. Consideramos que o tema abordado e que os resultados encontrados apresentam muita relevância aos profissionais e acadêmicos de terapia ocupacional.

Abstract:
It is plausible saying that neuroplasticity is the adaptability of the nervous system, specially neurons, to environmental conditions changes that occur in the daily individuals lives. This phenomenon is highly visible when the brain is injured, as in stroke, where neuroplasticity should occur after this episode and remain more effective with rehabilitation. This study aimed to understand the process of neuroplasticity and Occupational Therapy interventions with patients who had a stroke. This study is a descriptive quantitative and qualitative study and a integrative literature review. The research was carried out at the Virtual Health Library (VHL), Scielo and Google Scholar, using the descriptors: Occupacional Therapy, Neuroplasticity and Stroke. We believe that the topic adressed and the found results are very relevant to academic and occupacional therapy professionals.
