DESCRIÇÃO ANATÔMICA DO OSSO HIOIDE E LÍNGUA DE CERVOS DO GÊNERO MAZAMA
O objetivo deste resumo foi descrever a morfologia e os aspectos anatômicos da língua e do osso hioide de animais do gênero Mazama, que está dentre os cervídeos de maior importância para a fauna brasileira. Foram utilizadas peças anatômicas de dez indivíduos de diferentes faixas etárias, provindos do LANAVET, as quais foram estudadas quanto aos seus aspectos físicos e anatômicos. Foram analisadas as papilas linguais e a inserção da língua no hioide, e as características anatômicas deste osso que se assemelha a outros ruminantes.

Abstract:
The aim of this abstract was to describe the morphology and anatomical aspects of the tongue and hyoid bone of animals of the genus Mazama, which is among the most important deer for the Brazilian fauna. Anatomical parts of ten individuals of different age groups, coming from LANAVET, were studied by their physical and anatomical aspects. Among them, the analisis of the lingual papillae and the insertion of the tongue in the hyoid was made, and the anatomical characteristics of this bone resembles other ruminants.
