Abstract: The chapter presents the design and development of a serious game with virtual reality with the goal for being an instrument for evaluating spatial memory for people. It is important to highlight the complexity of development to achieve the game design, specifically to store information related to the distance, time and latency to reach the objectives of the game locations to know the routes travel time taken by the players. This serious game was developed in Unity because it is a game engine that is one used in the game development market until this year (2024). A virtual world was developed in which the user is tracked along a route, in addition to the final total time and the total distance, the distance is calculated for each route test and its time and delay for each test, it is very similar to the Morris maze applied to the mice. The use of Virtual Reality (VR) gets a level of immersion and interaction necessary to evaluate human behavior, considering a virtual environment and using a game control (joystick), it is non-invasive and can be used anywhere without exposing the person in danger for moving while having a VR headset.
