DESAFIOS PARA FORTALECER A SURDIDADE: ANÁLISE DA PROPOSTA DE REDAÇÃO ENEM-2017- QUE LUGAR OCUPAMOS NA HISTÓRIA ATUAL?
Este capítulo visa retomar a proposta de redação do Enem de 2017 que oportunizou aos participantes do exame, escreverem sobre os desafios educacionais dos surdos. Fizemos um levantamento das notícias apresentadas na mídia e redes sociais para compreender como a sociedade concebeu e ainda concebe a pessoa surda e seu modo de aprender e viver, de que modo avaliaram os textos motivadores e o tema da redação visando debater a questão da surdidade. Apresentamos a página do caderno de provas do Enem – 2017 e com base nas notícias e postagens encontradas no período que se seguiu as provas, e apresentamos críticas positivas e negativas na organização de um quadro e a partir dele realizamos as análises. Tratamos o conceito de: Surdidade, Colonialismo, Cultura surda, Invisibilidade e Educação Bilíngue e identificamos os traços de ouvintismo nas concepções acerca de quem é o Surdo e seus desafios na educação; fenômenos que a comunidade surda brasileira apresenta como fundamentais para o conhecimento de todo cidadão do nosso (e de outros) país; de que a pessoa Surda é sujeito com capacidade, especificidades e direitos.

Abstract:
This chapter has the objective to look at the 2017 National High School Exam (Enem) writing proposal that gave the exam participants the opportunity to write about the deaf educational challenges. We raised information from the news presented in the media and social networks to understand how society conceived and still conceives the deaf person and their way of learning and living, and how it was evaluated the leading texts and the essay theme to debate the issue of deafhood. We show the 2017 Enem exam sheet and, based on the news and posts found in the period that followed the tests, point out the positive and negative criticisms that are organized in a table which is used to carried out the analyzes. We discuss the following concepts: Deafhood, Colonialism, Deaf Culture, Invisibility and Bilingual Education. It is identified the audism traits in the conceptions about who is the Deaf and his/her challenges in the education. Is also verified the phenomena that the Brazilian deaf community presents as fundamental for the knowledge of every citizen of our (and others) country and that the Deaf person is a citizen with capacity, specificities, and rights.
