DESAFIOS ENFRENTADOS PELOS EDUCADORES ACERCA DA VIOLÊNCIA SEXUAL CONTRA CRIANÇAS: TABUS E FORMAÇÃO
Este artigo, com enfoque nos tabus acerca da violência sexual contra crianças e adolescentes e a formação de professores, objetiva identificar e analisar os possíveis obstáculos e desafios que impedem a atuação dos educadores no enfrentamento das situações de violência sexual contra os educandos. Existem obstáculos que impedem os educadores de enfrentarem as situações de relatos de abuso sexual dos educandos? Para responder à essa pergunta, foi aplicado um questionário a noventa educadores em três escolas municipais de São Paulo onde ocorreu a pesquisa, com o objetivo de evidenciar o grau de (des) conhecimento, obstáculos e posicionamento dos educadores em relação à violência contra os educandos com enfoque na violência sexual, incluindo os tabus. A análise orientou-se pela Teoria Crítica da Sociedade, levando-se em conta as seguintes noções: coisificação da consciência, barbárie, frieza nas relações humanas, desumanização e não identificação com o outro. Os dados da pesquisa indicam que os educadores estão cientes de alguns obstáculos e desafios a serem enfrentados com relação à violência sexual contra crianças e adolescentes. Por isso, os educadores não só necessitam de uma formação que permita capacitá-los para atuar de maneira segura e eficaz no combate à violência sexual contra seus alunos, como também esperam que ela se concretize.

Abstract:
This article focuses on taboos about sexual violence against children and adolescents and the training of teachers. It aims to identify and analyze the possible obstacles and challenges that prevent educators from handling situations of sexual violence against students. Are there any obstacles that prevent educators from reporting sexual abuse situations among students? A questionnaire was applied to ninety educators in the three municipal schools in São Paulo where the research took place, to answer this question and highlight the degree of knowledge or unfamiliarity with the subject, obstacles and positioning of educators concerning violence against students focusing on sexual violence, including taboos. The analysis was guided by the Critical Theory of Society, considering the following notions: objectification of conscience, barbarism, coldness in human relations, dehumanization and non-identification with the other. The survey data indicates that educators are aware of some obstacles and challenges to be faced about sexual violence against children and adolescents. For this reason, educators not only need instructions that will enable them to act safely and effectively to combat sexual violence against their students, but they also expect it to become a reality.
