Abstract: Klebsiella pneumoniae is a Gram-negative bacterium responsible for severe infections, especially in hospital settings. Antimicrobial resistance has made it a significant challenge in clinical practice. New therapeutic approaches, such as ceftazidime/avibactam, demonstrate effectiveness against resistant strains. Additionally, comparing oral and intravenous treatments can optimize resources and improve treatment adherence. Fecal microbiota transplantation is an emerging strategy for pathogen decolonization, while preventing infections in intensive care units is crucial. Thus, an integrated approach is essential to combat the rising threat of Klebsiella pneumoniae infections
