DESAFIOS DAS MULHERES QUE DECIDEM VOLTAR A ESTUDAR NA EJA
RESUMO: O objetivo deste artigo é relacionar e apresentar os estudos sobre a
educação de jovens e adultos, tendo como foco as mulheres. Entende-se que a
mulher, no ambiente da EJA, seja representada por muitos entraves, desafios e
experiências que as fizeram abandonar a escola no tempo regular e por isso é
importante buscar compreender essas premissas baseando-se em uma
pesquisa acadêmica. A metodologia adotada para a elaboração deste trabalho é
a revisão bibliográfica e o estudo de caso, sendo uma pesquisa de caráter
qualitativo e exploratório, com o objetivo de apresentar, por meio constatações
científicas publicadas em livros, sites e artigos, os resultados sobre o que as
mulheres enfrentam para estar na EJA e quais foram os motivos para isso.
Alguns autores abordam o tema e apresentam resultados que apontam as
dificuldades das mulheres nos estudos, sua relação com as exigências culturais,
sociais e econômicas, bem como a lida com a desvalorização feminina numa
sociedade patriarcal.

Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to relate and present studies on youth
and adult education, focusing on women. It is understood that women, in the EJA
environment, are represented by many obstacles, challenges and experiences
that made them drop out of school on a regular basis and that is why it is important
to seek to understand these premises based on academic research. The
methodology adopted for the elaboration of this work is the bibliographic review
and the case study, being a qualitative and exploratory research, with the
objective of presenting, through scientific findings published in books, websites
and articles, the results about what women face to be in the EJA and what were
the reasons for this. Some authors approach the subject and present results that
point out the difficulties of women in studies, their relationship with cultural, social,
and economic demands, as well as dealing with female devaluation in a
patriarchal society.
