DESAFIOS DA FISIOTERAPIA NO TRATAMENTO DA DOR ARTICULAR POR CHIKUNGUNYA
O objetivo deste estudo é averiguar
os principais desafios encontrados na
Fisioterapia para o tratamento da dor articular
por Chikungunya (CHIKV), visto que se trata de
uma doença crônica em desenvolvimento, capaz
de ocasionar problemas funcionais. Trata-se de
uma revisão sistemática de literatura. Foram
utilizadas as bases de dados PubMed, Scielo e
PEDro. Os critérios de inclusão foram estudos
que abordassem a Fisioterapia na Chikungunya.
Foram selecionados artigos escritos em inglês,
português ou espanhol. A pesquisa foi realizada
com a seleção de artigos publicados até o
dia 17 de março de 2018. Foram usados os
descritores: “chikungunya”, “chikungunya and
physiotherapy” e “chikungunya and treatment”.
Foram encontrados 5.298 estudos. Destes,
apenas 05 artigos abordavam o tratamento
aplicado à dor articular por CHIKV. Considerando
a presente revisão sistemática, nota-se que a
maior dificuldade encontrada na Fisioterapia
é a incipiência de literaturas de tratamentos
específicos. Poucos estudos foram encontrados
que associassem diretamente a ação da
Fisioterapia na dor articular por Chikungunya,
caracterizando um desafio profissional, fato este
que alerta para a necessidade de ampliação de
estudos científicos sobre a temática

Abstract:
The aim of this study is to
investigate the main challenges of Chikungunya
(CHIKV) in Physical Therapy for the treatment
of joint pain, since it is a chronic disease in
development, capable of causing functional
problems. This is a systematic literature review.
The PubMed, Scielo and PEDro databases were
used. Inclusion criteria were studies addressing
Chikungunya Physical Therapy. Articles were
written in English, Portuguese or Spanish. The
research was carried out with the selection of
articles published until March 17, 2018. The
descriptors “chikungunya”, “chikungunya and
physiotherapy” and “chikungunya and treatment”
were used. There were 5,298 studies. Of
these, only 05 articles addressed the treatment
applied to joint pain by CHIKV. Considering the present systematic review, it is noticed
that the greatest difficulty found in Physical Therapy is the incipience of literature of
specific treatments. Few studies have been found to directly associate the action of
Physiotherapy in joint pain by Chikungunya, characterizing a professional challenge, a
fact that warns of the need to expand scientific studies on the subject
