Abstract: This article is an instrument for the perception and reflection of agroecological knowledge and practices aiming at its analysis at the Municipal Agricultural School Nilo Batista, in Cabo Frio/RJ and at Aldeia Maracanã, in the city of Rio de Janeiro/RJ. The analysis of these relationships intends to explore concepts such as: agroecology, territoriality, sustainability and education and its application in both spaces, in the period from 2018 to 2021. Based on the bibliographical research and the comparative study of the two groups, it is intended to present a detailed analysis of their characteristics, similarities and differences, emphasizing the agroecological practices present in the Agricultural School (non-indigenous) and in the proposal of the first indigenous university conceived by Aldeia Maracanã.
