Através deste pesquisa pretendemos
realizar uma comparação entre o conto A terceira
margem do rio, do escritor brasileiro João
Guimarães Rosa e Nas águas do Tempo do
escritor moçambicano Mia Couto, com o intuito
de analisar como as zonas fronteiriças resultam
em entre- lugar e como o conceito de entre lugar
modifica e transforma o indivíduo e sua cultura.
Para realizar essa análise utilizaremos esse
conceito proposto pelo escritor indu-britânico
Hommi K. Bhabha em seu livro O Local da
Cultura, 1998.

Abstract:
Through this research we
intended to make a comparison between the
tale The third bank of the river, by the Brazilian
writer João Guimarães Rosa and In the waters
of Time by the Mozambican writer Mia Couto,
with the aim of analyzing how the frontier zones
result in between-place and how the concept
of place modifies and transforms the individual
and his culture. To realize this analysis we will
use this concept proposed by the indu-British
writer Hommi K. Bhabha in his book The Place
of Culture, 1998.
