DEMONSTRAÇÃO DO PROCESSO DE CÁLCULO DE VAZÃO DE ÁGUA E DIMENSIONAMENTO DE BOMBA CENTRÍFUGA PARA OPERAÇÃO DE TORRES DE RESFRIAMENTO
Altas quantidades de calor são geradas em máquinas e processos industriais, tornando-se necessária a dissipação deste calor para manter a eficiência dos processos. Sendo a torre de resfriamento um equipamento de importância notória no campo da refrigeração, com base em investigações científicas, este trabalho visa abordar alguns tópicos que influenciam diretamente no seu projeto, sendo eles: a estimativa da vazão necessária para manter um sistema de refrigeração nas temperaturas requeridas e o dimensionamento de uma bomba centrífuga que atenda à vazão encontrada.

Abstract:
High quantities of heat are generated in machines and industrial processes, being necessary the dissipation of this heat to keep the efficiency of the processes. As the cooling tower is an equipment of notorious importance in the refrigeration field, based on scientific investigations, this paper aims to approach some topics that directly influenciate its project, those are: the estimation of the necessary flow to keep a refrigeration system under the required temperatures and the sizing of a centrifugal pump that attend the estimated flow.
