DE DENTRO E DE FORA: ESTRATÉGIAS DE PERTENCIMENTO E PERMANÊNCIA EM UMA COMUNIDADE RURAL NO LITORAL NORTE DA BAHIA
Esta pesquisa analisa as mudanças de uso do território de trabalho e moradia tradicionais da comunidade rural Curralinho, região do Litoral Norte da Bahia. Estas engendradas pelo projeto modernizante de desenvolvimento econômico e turístico do governo estadual, a partir de 1970, com a implantação das florestas homogêneas de eucaliptos e pinus e da construção de grandes empreendimentos turísticos. Por meio de uma análise qualitativa, composta por observação participante, entrevistas semiestruturadas e da história oral, observou-se que o processo de mobilidade espacial se intensifica, fortalecendo o sentimento de pertença entre os nativos e assinalando a diferença identitária e social entre estes e os de fora. Em suma, as novas estratégias de uso territoriais constituem-se elementos de (re)significação do pertencimento e permanência, marcados pela diferença social, temporal e espacial dos atores envolvidos no processo, assinalando a resistência do grupo para continuar existindo.

Abstract:
This research analyzes the changes in the use of the traditional work and home territory of the rural community Curralinho, in the North Coast of Bahia. These were created by the modernizing project of economic and tourist development of the state government, starting in 1970, with the implantation of homogeneous forests of eucalyptus and pine and the construction of large tourist enterprises. Through a qualitative analysis, composed of participant observation, semi-structured interviews and oral history, it was observed that the process of spatial mobility intensifies, strengthening the feeling of belonging between the natives and pointing out the identity and social difference between them and the out. In short, the new territorial use strategies are elements of (re) signification of belonging and permanence, marked by the social, temporal and spatial difference of the actors involved in the process, signaling the group's resistance to continue to exist.
