Resumo: O Serviço de Radiologia Odontológica FOA-UNESP, por 25 anos (Jubileu de Prata) realiza exames por imagem. Objetivo: compartilhamento de saberes e da experiência do serviço de Radiologia. Materiais e Métodos: a atividade extensionista realiza exames dos pacientes da FOA-UNESP, do COB e CAOE, e encaminhados pelo SUS, da DRS II de Araçatuba, estimado em 728.743 habitantes. Resultados: A atividade integra ensino, pesquisa e extensão, de uma experiência exitosa, contribuindo para a formação de alunos de graduação e pós-graduação, no ensino do atendimento e interpretação das imagens. Foram atendidos 43.336 pacientes, com a realização de 145.322 exames. Conclusões: a atividade promove o impacto social em ampliar o acesso a exames especializados, o conhecimento e desenvolvimento regional.

  • Abstract: Abstract: The FOA-UNESP Dental Radiology Service has been providing imaging examinations for 25 years (Silver Jubilee). Objective: To share the knowledge and experience developed through the Radiology Service. Materials and Methods: This extension activity performs imaging examinations for patients treated at FOA-UNESP, the COB and CAOE clinics, as well as patients referred through the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS) from the DRS II region of Araçatuba, with an estimated population of 728,743 inhabitants. Results: The initiative successfully integrates teaching, research, and extension activities, contributing to the education of undergraduate and graduate students through training in patient care and image interpretation. A total of 43,336 patients were assisted, with 145,322 imaging examinations performed. Conclusions: The activity generates significant social impact by expanding access to specialized diagnostic imaging services, promoting knowledge dissemination, and fostering regional development.
