CUSTOS LOGÍSTICOS ENVOLVIDOS NA DISPONIBILIDADE DA OPERAÇÃO DE UM SISTEMA METROVIÁRIO
Este trabalho tem por finalidade apresentar o referencial teórico do custo logístico dos sistemas de transporte metroviário. A partir da teoria apresentada, serão analisados os custos logísticos dos principais fatores vitais à disponibilidade desses sistemas. Qualquer paralisação de um sistema metroviário afeta milhares de usuários e a sociedade cobra a disponibilidade máxima do sistema de transporte. Por isso é necessário que as operadoras tenham pleno conhecimento de seu custo logístico, para que seja possível realizar um bom planejamento, mantendo em estoque suficiente os insumos relacionados aos principais fatores vitais à disponibilidade, e investindo no que realmente contribui para aumentar a disponibilidade do sistema metroviário. A aplicação da teoria foi realizada no Metrô do Rio de Janeiro.

Abstract:
This paper aims at presenting the theoretical framework of logistic cost of the subway transport systems. The costs of the principal factors considered vital to the availability of the systems will be analysed based on the mentioned theory. Any service interruption of a subway system, even if temporary, afftects millions of passengers, making the society charge the maximum availability of the transport system. Therefore it is necessary that operators are fully aware of logistic cost in order to have a good planning, keeping in stock the most relevant inputs related to the main important factors to the availability, and investing in it for a higher improvement of the subway system. The application of the theory was carried out in Rio de Janeiro´s subway.
