CURSO DE PEDAGOGIA DA UESPI EM BOM JESUS-PI: RELATOS DE UMA EXPERIÊNCIA EXTENSIONISTA

Este texto apresenta o relato de uma atividade de extensão da UESPI realizada em escolas estaduais da cidade de Bom Jesus, Piauí. O objetivo geral foi apresentar o Curso de Pedagogia da UESPI de Bom Jesus e das áreas de atuação do pedagogo para estudantes dos anos finais do Ensino Médio. Os objetivos específicos foram a) esclarecer aos participantes a natureza e a abrangência do Curso de Pedagogia, mostrando o perfil e o campo de atuação do pedagogo; e b) estimular jovens dos anos finais do Ensino Médio a optar pelo Curso de Pedagogia em exames de ingresso ao Ensino Superior, colaborando, assim, para uma futura escolha profissional. Por meio de palestras com duração máxima de 50 minutos, o Curso de Pedagogia e as áreas de atuação do pedagogo foram apresentados para despertar o interesse dos estudantes pela carreira.

  • Abstract: This text presents the story of a UESPI extension activity conducted in the state schools of the city of Bom Jesus, Piauí. The overall goal was to present UESPI of Bom Jesus’ Pedagogy Course and the pedagogue’s areas’ of action to the students of the later years of High School. The specific goals were a) to make it clear, to the participants, the nature and reach of the Pedagogy  Course, showcasing the profile and the area of action of the pedagogue; and b)  to stimulate the youths of the later years of High School to opt for the Pedagogy Course in the entrance exams into Higher Education, thus collaborating in a future professional choice. Through up-to-50-minute lectures, the Pedagogy Course and the pedagogue’s areas of action were presented to awaken students’ interest in the career.
