CURSINHO EDIFICAR: A EDUCAÇÃO COMO INSTRUMENTO DE TRANSFORMAÇÃO SOCIAL
O presente trabalho apresenta reflexões acerca da experiência de um
cursinho popular desenvolvido e coordenado por estudantes universitários. O Curso
Edificar é uma ação do projeto de extensão Edifique Ações, cadastrado na Pró-
Reitoria de extensão da Universidade Federal do Cariri. O Curso é voltado para
egressos e estudantes do último ano do Ensino Médio com foco na preparação para
o Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio e contempla, entre seus objetivos, o
fortalecimento das relações entre academia e sociedade, possibilitando que os
meios interajam e desenvolvam ações e atividades conjuntas. Os procedimentos
adotados nesta pesquisa caracterizam-se como uma pesquisa bibliográfica, de
caráter qualitativo-documental. Os documentos que serviram de fonte para a
pesquisa foram os relatórios parcial e final do projeto Edifique Ações, entregues à
Pró-reitoria de Extensão da UFCA, em 2016, os quais contêm informações acerca
das atividades realizadas e resultados alcançados durante o ano. O cursinho, criado
como algo simples e despretensioso, obteve um número expressivo de aprovações,
chegando a 75% do total de alunos matriculados, em diversas Instituições de Ensino
Superior, dentro e fora da Região Cariri, demostrando o poder transformador que
esta ação representou na vida dos estudantes beneficiados, auxiliando-os no acesso
ao Ensino Superior. Pode-se constatar neste estudo que o trabalho realizado pelo
projeto Edifique Ações, por meio das atividades do Cursinho Edificar, impactou de
forma positiva e significativa na vida de todos os envolvidos, sendo um importante
instrumento de transformação.

Abstract:
The present work presents reflections about the experience of a popular
course developed and coordinated by university students. The Curso Edificar is an
action of the Edifique Ações extension project registered at the Pró-Reitoria de
Extension of the Federal University of Cariri. The course is aimed at graduating seniors
and high school students with a focus on preparing for the National Examination of
Secondary Education and contemplates, among its objectives, the strengthening of
relations between academia and society, enabling the media to interact and develop
actions and activities. The procedures adopted in this research are characterized as
a qualitative-documentary bibliographical research. The documents that served as a
source for the research were the partial and final reports of the Edifique Ações
project, delivered to the Extension Office of UFCA in 2016, which contain information
about the activities carried out and results achieved during the year. The course,
created as something simple and unpretentious, obtained an expressive number of
approvals, reaching 75% of the total enrolled students, in several Higher Education
Institutions, inside and outside the Cariri Region, demonstrating the transformative
power that this action represented in the students, assisting them in access to Higher
Education. It can be verified in this study that the work carried out by the Edifique
Ações project, through the activities of Curso Edificar, had a positive and significant
impact on the lives of all involved, being an important instrument of transformation.
