CULTURA TRADICIONAL DA INFÂNCIA ENQUANTO PATRIMÔNIO MATERIAL E IMATERIAL AS INICIATIVAS DE PRESERVAÇÃO E CULTIVO DO SEU REPERTÓRIO EM TEMPOS DE GLOBALIZAÇÃO
Diante do significado e importância da cultura infantil e música tradicional da infância, da sua relação com cultura, da riqueza e diversidade do seu repertório e da sua função social, este trabalho a apresenta como patrimônio material e imaterial e relaciona o crescente número de iniciativas de proteção ao seu repertório realizadas no Brasil nas últimas duas décadas com a supervalorização do patrimônio como um fenômeno global. Será pautado nas definições de patrimônio material e imaterial defendidas pela UNESCO, nas reflexões de Rodney Harrison sobre o patrimônio enquanto fenômeno global, em pesquisas de campo e bibliográficas realizadas entre 1998 e 2019 e nas publicações e plataformas implementadas pelo Ministério da Cultura brasileiro com o objetivo de mapear, salvaguardar bem como a plataforma do Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional – Iphan, órgão responsável pela salvaguarda do patrimônio cultural brasileiro.

Abstract:
Childhood music, games and toys have always had a profound meaning and importance in Brazilian culture, due to its rich and diverse repertoire, and its social function. This work presents Brazilian traditional children’s music and games as material and immaterial heritage and relates the growing number of protective initiatives of this traditional repertoire carried out in Brazil in the last two decades. Robert Harrison defends that the phenomenon of globalisation has caused a general increase in the concern with the loss of local traditions, and a thus a need for recognition and overvaluation of this heritage as a global phenomenon.
This article is based on the definitions of material and intangible heritage defended by UNESCO, the reflections of Rodney Harrison regarding the protection of local cultural traditions as a global phenomenon, as well as the field and in publications and platforms implemented by the Brazilian Ministry of Culture, and the National Historical and Artistic Heritage Institute - Iphan, the body responsible for safeguarding the Brazilian cultural heritage.
