CULTURA, IDENTIDADE E MEMÓRIA NA COMUNIDADE REMANESCENTE DE QUILOMBO “SÃO MIGUEL”: A BONECA ABAYOMI
O presente artigo está vinculado a dissertação de mestrado intitulada: Cultura, identidade e memória na comunidade remanescente de quilombo “São Miguel”: a boneca abayomi a qual expõe sobre o rememorar da cultura, memória e identidade africana na comunidade remanescente de quilombo “São Miguel”, localizada no município de Restinga Sêca, que é parte integrante do Quarta Colônia Geoparque Mundial da UNESCO e Quarta Colônia do estado do Rio Grande do Sul. As comunidades quilombolas obtiveram visibilidade, com a Constituição Federal em 1988, oportunizando aos descendentes afro-brasileiros um lugar de destaque no cenário político e social brasileiro. O Capitulo exposto neste artigo está associado a temática da comunidade quilombola, do município de Restinga Sêca/RS em seu contexto histórico, social e cultural, ao patrimônio material e imaterial e pertencimento a um Geoparque. O produto do estudo é um brinquedo, a boneca Abayomi, o qual foi produzido com os alunos das turmas do pré-escolar A e B da Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental Manuel Albino Carvalho, localizada na comunidade do estudo e distribuídas entre eles.

Abstract:
The present article is linked to the master's dissertation entitled: Culture, Identity, and Memory in the remaining quilombo community "São Miguel": the Abayomi doll, which exposes the remembrance of African culture, memory, and identity in the remaining quilombo community "São Miguel," located in the municipality of Restinga Sêca, which is an integral part of the UNESCO Global Geopark Fourth Colony and the Fourth Colony of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Quilombola communities gained visibility with the 1988 Federal Constitution, providing Afro-Brazilian descendants with a prominent place in the Brazilian political and social scene. The chapter presented in this article is associated with the theme of the quilombola community in the historical, social, and cultural context of Restinga Sêca/RS municipality, with its tangible and intangible heritage, and belonging to a Geopark. The study's output is a toy, the Abayomi doll, which was produced with students from preschool classes A and B at the Manuel Albino Carvalho Municipal Elementary School, located in the study's community, and distributed among them.
