CULTURA E TRADUÇÃO: UMA BREVE DISCUSSÃO TEÓRICA
Este trabalho tem como objetivo
discutir a relação que se instaura entre o
fenômeno tradutório e a cultura. A teoria da
semiosfera (LOTMAN, 1996), difundida pelos
postulados da semiótica de linha russa, é
creditada como imprescindível para perceber
as fronteiras que delineiam os discursos que
caracterizam os contatos culturais. Nessa
perspectiva, entende-se a tradução como
uma atividade constante e responsável pela
simbolização e representação das formas de
estar no mundo, isto é, de todas as práticas
sociais que caracterizam e configuram nossos
processos de significação.

Abstract:
This work aims to discuss
the relationship between the translational
phenomenon and the culture. The semiosphere
theory (LOTMAN, 1996), disseminated by the
postulates of Russian-line semiotics, is credited
as essential to perceive the borders outlining the
discourses which characterize cultural contacts.
In this perspective, translation is understood
as a constant and responsible activity for the
symbolization and representation of the ways of
being in the world, that is, of all social practices
that characterize and configure our processes
of signification.
