CULTURA DE PAZ: ELEMENTOS TEÓRICOS COMO SUBSÍDIO PARA A DISCUSSÃO NO CONTEXTO DA EDUCAÇÃO BRASILEIRA
A partir da inclusão do tema Cultura
de Paz na Lei nº. 9.394/96, a Lei de Diretrizes
e Bases da Educação Nacional Brasileira,
que se deu em maio de 2018, é fundamental
considerar tensões teóricas e metodológicas
referentes ao tema. Discutir as perspectivas
da Cultura de Paz, da Educação para a Paz,
da prevenção das violências escolares, além
de outros temas relacionados, passam a fazer
parte deste momento, onde mudanças podem
e devem acontecer nas escolas. A Cultura de
Paz como paradigma, a Educação para a Paz
como dimensão pedagógica, a complexidade
das múltiplas violências e dos conflitos que
adentram as instituições educativas, são
dimensões iniciais a pontuar neste caminho.
Estas questões, pensando em alternativas
pedagógicas para a Cultura de Paz na escola,
compõe o objetivo deste capítulo, construído
a partir de revisão bibliográfica e documental
pertinentes ao foco estabelecido.

Abstract:
From the inclusion of the theme
Culture of Peace in Law no. 9.394 / 96, the Law
of Guidelines and Bases of Brazilian National
Education, which took place in May 2018, it
is fundamental to consider theoretical and
methodological tensions regarding the subject.
Discussing the perspectives of the Culture
of Peace, Education for Peace, prevention
of school violence, and other related topics,
are part of this moment, where changes can
and should happen in schools. The Culture of
Peace as a paradigm, Education for Peace as
a pedagogical dimension, the complexity of
the multiple violence and conflicts that enter
educational institutions, are initial dimensions
to punctuate this path. These questions,
thinking about pedagogical alternatives to
think about the Culture of Peace in school,
compose the objective of this chapter, built
from a bibliographical and documentary review
pertinent to the established focus.
