Abstract: Introduction: Palliative care is initiated when a disease, such as advanced cancer, arrives at a certain time when there are no more chances of cure or control, such as Multiple Myeloma (MM) which consists of a neoplasm originated in B cells Objectives: To analyze the role of nursing in palliative care for patients with Multiple Myeloma. Materials and methods: This is an integrative review based on articles published from 2002 to 2022 in LILACS, SciELO, BVS and Redalyc databases. Results and Discussion: The results of this review culminated in the categorization of results, which were: Category 1- Nurses' perception of palliative care; Category 2 - Nursing and palliative care in the context of home care; Category 3 - Nursing interventions in the treatment of multiple myeloma; where it stands out about the role of the nursing team in palliative care in patients with multiple myeloma, focusing on a service that prioritizes respect, reception and humanization by these health professionals, thus guaranteeing an improvement in the quality of life both of this patient and his family. Final considerations: Information was found about palliative care for patients with multiple myeloma, and among these factors, we seek to describe the main nursing diagnoses and care for patients with multiple myeloma; highlight how the patient with multiple myeloma can fit into the context of palliative care; to establish information about the pathophysiology and diagnoses of multiple myeloma.
