CUIDADOS PALIATIVOS E INSUFICIÊNCIA CARDÍACA: UMA REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA
A insuficiência cardíaca (IC) torna-se a via final comum entre as cardiopatias, apresenta-se como uma síndrome clínica complexa de caráter sistêmico com alta morbimortalidade. Os cuidados paliativos apresentam-se como uma abordagem que promove qualidade de vida a pacientes e seus familiares, quando enfrentando patologias que ameaçam a continuidade da vida, por meio da prevenção e diminuição do sofrimento. Este estudo tem como objetivo realizar uma revisão integrativa para conhecer como o cuidado paliativo é prestado a pacientes com insuficiência cardíaca. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa conduzida no mês de abril de 2020, com análise de publicações indexadas nas bases de dados: SciELO, LILACS, BDENF e Google Acadêmico no período de 2014 a 2020. Foram selecionados nove artigos que atendiam aos critérios de inclusão e exclusão, posteriormente os dados foram submetidos à análise crítica, descrição dos resultados e discussão. Os resultados ressaltaram a necessidade da inclusão dos cuidados paliativos o quanto antes em pacientes com diagnóstico de Insuficiência cardíaca não somente no estágio final da doença, bem como a necessidade de mais estudos sobre a temática.

Abstract:
Heart failure (HF) becomes the final common route among heart diseases, presenting itself as a complex clinical syndrome of a systemic character with high morbidity and mortality. Palliative care presents itself as an approach that promotes quality of life for patients and their families, when facing pathologies that threaten the continuity of life, through the prevention and reduction of suffering. This study aims to conduct an integrative review to find out how palliative care is provided to patients with heart failure. It is an integrative review conducted in April 2020, with analysis of publications indexed in the databases: SciELO, LILACS, BDENF and Google Scholar in the period from 2014 to 2020. Nine articles were selected that met the inclusion criteria and exclusion, afterwards the data were submitted to critical analysis, description of results and discussion. The results highlighted the need to include palliative care as soon as possible in patients diagnosed with Heart Failure not only in the final stage of the disease, but also the need for further studies on the subject.
