CUIDADOS DE ENFERMAGEM AO PACIENTE ACOMETIDO POR ACIDENTE VASCULAR ENCEFÁLICO
O acidente vascular encefálico (AVE) é uma doença que tem como causa a perda súbita da função cerebral que resulta da ruptura ou redução, total ou parcial, do suprimento sanguíneo ao encéfalo. Sendo a principal causa de morte entre os brasileiros e a quarta causa de mortalidade no mundo. O objetivo do estudo foi avaliar o conhecimento exposto na literatura relacionado aos cuidados de enfermagem ao paciente acometido por AVE. Esse trabalho trata-se de uma revisão de literatura, onde foram reunidos 6 artigos a partir da pesquisa bibliográfica com 64, localizadas na plataforma da Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS) nas bases de dados Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS), Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE) e Base de Dados em Enfermagem (BDENF). Para a investigação dos artigos foram empregados os descritores retirados do DeCS (Descritores em Ciências da Saúde): AVE, Enfermagem, Cuidados. Os critérios de inclusão foram: artigos completos, publicados nos idiomas português, inglês e espanhol, que retratassem a temática e com o tema principal sobre os cuidados de enfermagem ao paciente com AVE. Os critérios de exclusão foram: artigos incompletos e quando na presença de duplicidade, optou-se por apenas um artigo da base de dados. Nos resultados identificou-se nos artigos um maior número de cuidados de enfermagem relacionados a reabilitação motora e funcional, avaliação de funções fisiológicas e necessidades diárias do paciente, bem como avaliação neurológica de déficits motores e sensoriais, além da administração correta das medicações, cuidados emocionais e educativos centrados no paciente e familiares. Concluiu-se que a literatura corrobora que as atribuições do enfermeiro no processo de reconhecimento dos cuidados aos pacientes acometidos por AVE são impactantes para redução do agravo ou aparecimento secundário desta doença.

Abstract:
Stroke is a disease caused by the sudden loss of brain function that results from the rupture or reduction, total or partial, of the blood supply to the brain. Being the leading cause of death among Brazilians and the fourth leading cause of mortality in the world. The aim of the study was to evaluate the knowledge exposed in the literature related to nursing care for patients affected by stroke. This work is a review of the literature, where 6 articles were gathered from the bibliographic research with 64, requiring in the platform of the Virtual Health Library (VHL) in the databases Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS), Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE) and Database in Nursing (BDENF). For the investigation of the articles, the descriptors taken from the DeCS (Health Sciences Descriptors) were used: AVE, Nursing, Care. The inclusion criteria were: published articles, published in Portuguese, English and Spanish, that portrayed the theme and with the main theme on nursing care for patients with stroke. The exclusion criteria were: incomplete articles and when in the presence of duplicity, we chose only one article from the database. The results identified in the articles a greater number of nursing care related to motor and functional rehabilitation, assessment of physiological functions and patient needs, as well as neurological assessment of motor and sensory deficits, in addition to the correct administration of medications, emotional care and educational activities focused on the patient and family. It was concluded that the literature corroborates that the nurse's attributions in the process of recognizing the care to patients affected by CVA are impactful for reducing the disease or the appearance of the secondary appearance of this disease.
