Abstract: Leprosy is a chronic, curable infectious disease that primarily affects the skin and peripheral nerves, remaining epidemiologically relevant in Brazil and requiring timely diagnosis to prevent physical disabilities and social stigma. In this context, pharmaceutical care enhances treatment safety, promotes adherence, and contributes to the early recognition of adverse reactions, leprosy reactions, and signs of clinical worsening. This chapter discusses the clinical aspects and clinical forms of leprosy, as well as the pharmacist’s role in the suspicion of lesions, referral for diagnostic evaluation, and therapeutic follow-up of individuals undergoing multidrug therapy. It also synthesizes the main care measures related to the classic drugs—rifampicin, dapsone, and clofazimine—highlighting adverse reactions, warning signs, and possible pharmaceutical interventions within clinical practice and healthcare. Finally, a practical table, based on official documents, is presented to support the pharmacist’s work in health education, rational use of medicines, pharmacovigilance, and coordination with the multidisciplinary team.
