CRIAÇÃO DO CURSO DE LICENCIATURA EM MÚSICA DA UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DO PIAUÍ: HORIZONTES MUSICAIS E LEGAIS
O presente estudo tem como objetivo refletir acerca da criação do curso de Licenciatura em Música da Universidade Federal do Piauí (UFPI). O corpus documental é constituído por Projeto Político-pedagógico dos cursos de Educação Artística e Música, resoluções, aportes legais, atas. Esses documentos são articulados com entrevista com um dos professores atuantes no processo de constituição da formação específica em música. Nesta perspectiva, investe-se na compreensão dos elementos que deram embasamento à gênese do Curso de Licenciatura em Música da UFPI. Destaca-se os aportes musicais e legais presentes no processo de constituição do primeiro curso superior de Música do Piauí. A fundamentação teórica baseia-se nas ideias de Fonterrada (2007) e (2008), Penna (2012) e Monti (2015) no que se refere à função e legislação musical, Le Goff (2008), Ferro, Nascimento e Souza (2009) no direcionamento da história oral. Com o resultado do avanço na legislação brasileira, e que, aliada aos anseios de docentes e corpo administrativo, é possível identificar o desmembramento do Curso de Educação Artística possibilita culminando na criação do Curso de Licenciatura em Música da UFPI.

Abstract:
This study aims to reflect on the creation of the Music Degree course at the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI). The documentary corpus consists of the Political-Pedagogical Project of the Artistic and Music Education courses, resolutions, legal contributions, minutes. These documents are articulated with an interview with one of the professors active in the process of constituting specific music training. In this perspective, it is invested in the understanding of the elements that supported the genesis of the UFPI Music Degree Course. Noteworthy are the musical and legal contributions present in the process of setting up the first university course in Music in Piauí. The theoretical basis is based on the ideas of Fonterrada (2007) and (2008), Penna (2012) and Monti (2015) with regard to musical function and legislation, Le Goff (2008), Ferro, Nascimento and Souza (2009 ) in the direction of oral history. With the result of advances in Brazilian legislation, which, combined with the desires of teachers and administrative staff, it is possible to identify the breakdown of the Artistic Education Course, culminating in the creation of the Music Degree Course at UFPI.
