CRIAÇÃO DE UM MAKERSPACE PARA ENGENHEIROS EM FORMAÇÃO: RELAÇÃO CUSTO X BENEFÍCIO
Com a grande oferta de cursos
de Engenharia no Brasil somada à enorme
necessidade de engenheiros no país, em face
da grande demanda por desenvolvimento
infraestrutural, entre outros, surge a
necessidade de as instituições de ensino
superior ofertarem diferenciais em suas grades
curriculares e além de metodologias de ensinoaprendizagem
inovadoras e exitosas. A área
do conhecimento em questão demanda além
de trabalho aprofundado teórico a vertente
prática bem apurada, uma vez que de nada
adianta que o estudante saiba teorias se não
as consegue aplicar. Desta forma, este artigo
tem como objetivo principal demonstrar a
importância e a positividade da implantação
dos makerspaces ou similares como elementos
de formação nos currículos das engenharias, a
partir de pesquisas bibliográficas sobre esses
espaços e do levantamento de experiências
em instituições de ensino superior nacionais e
estrangeiras que já implantaram tal prática.

Abstract:
Due to the great number of
engineering courses in Brazil, in addition to the
enormous need of engineers in the country,
due to the great demand for infrastructural
development, among others, there is a need for
higher education institutions to offer differentials
in their curricula and in addition to methodologies
innovative teaching and learning. The area of
knowledge in question demands, in addition
to theoretical in-depth work, the well-studied
practical side, since it is of no use that the
student knows theories if he can not apply them.
In this way, this article has as main objective to
demonstrate the importance and the positivity of the implantation of the makerspaces or
similar like elements of formation in the curricula of the engineering, from bibliographical
researches on these spaces and the gathering of experiences in institutions of superior
national education and have already implemented such a practice.
