Abstract: This article aims to evaluate the perception of risk from the observation of social behavior during the period established for quarantine by Covid - 19 in the province of Guantanamo, Cuba. The current situation of epidemiological crisis has caused global changes in the daily dynamics that have required the internalization of behavioral patterns with adaptive capacity, where the principle of collective interest is above the individual. This is an exploratory study conducted during the period march-June of 2020, which provides an approximation of the phenomenon from a methodological approach is descriptive-explanatory, based on the techniques of scientific observation and semi-structured interview, which allowed the approach to the perception of risk as a reflection of the conduct assumed by the individuals to the epidemiological situation, evidencing a breach of the measures established, compromising the health, personal and collective, as well as the stability of the health system at the provincial level and country.
