Abstract: The post-covid syndrome is characterized by the presence of symptoms that develop after the acute phase of the infection, which remain indefinitely and which have no other probable cause. In view of this, the development of underlying diseases or the worsening of the clinical condition of patients with underlying diseases demonstrates a major public health problem. Thus, the present study aimed to understand the relationship between the development of sequelae in patients who had/acquired diabetes or hypertension after contamination, in order to find impacts common to this population. The methodology used was of an exploratory nature together with an experience report of a health action. For the theoretical foundation, academic articles found in specific databases were used, such as the Virtual Health Library (BVS) and PubMed, using the search strategy “(post-covid syndrome) AND (hypertension OR high blood pressure) AND/OR ( diabetes)". As a result, a lack of articles related to the post-covid syndrome in primary care was observed, which is the subject of studies only in cases of specialized care. In addition, as reported by patients with SAH and DM, during the course of the action, there was a higher prevalence of development of sequelae, such as forgetfulness and coughing.
