COVID-19 E SEUS IMPACTOS NA SAÚDE MENTAL
O novo coronavírus, de início na China, rapidamente progrediu para todo o mundo. A pandemia da Covid-19 trouxe à sociedade novos paradigmas desafiadores quanto a seu enfrentamento, a do isolamento social. Assim, a restrição de socialização das pessoas associada à desaceleração econômica causada nesse cenário, propiciou um cenário fértil para situações que colocam em evidência as questões quanto à saúde mental da população. Diante desse contexto, é de fundamental importância identificar e discutir os reais efeitos da pandemia em uma análise do bem-estar psíquico como forma de se ter um conhecimento e solucionar tal temática abordada. O presente trabalho trata-se de uma pesquisa do tipo revisão narrativa na área de Medicina e Saúde, do tipo “estado da arte”, pautada nas produções nacionais e internacionais publicadas até então. Conclui-se que esse estudo permitiu visualizar e refletir sobre os reais impactos da pandemia pela Covid-19 na saúde mental da população.

Abstract:
The new coronavirus, beginning in China, quickly progressed around the world. The Covid-19 pandemic brought new challenging paradigms to society in terms of facing it, that of social isolation. Thus, the restriction of socialization of people associated with the economic slowdown caused in this scenario, provided a fertile scenario for situations that highlight issues regarding the mental health of the population. In view of this context, it is of fundamental importance to identify and discuss the real effects of the pandemic in an analysis of psychic well-being as a way of gaining knowledge and solving this issue. The present work is a narrative review research in the area of Medicine and Health, of the “state of the art” type, based on national and international productions published until then. It is concluded that this study allowed to visualize and reflect on the real impacts of the pandemic by Covid-19 on the mental health of the population.
