Abstract: The objective is to describe a case of esophageal penetrating foreign body in a feline, presenting with clinical signs of swallowing a sewing needle and subsequently showing hyporexia, apathy, loose stools without blood, physiological parameters within normal limits, and absence of foreign body in the oral cavity. On simple cephalic and cervical radiographic examination, a radiopaque foreign body was observed in the cervical esophagus. Surgery was recommended for the removal of the penetrating foreign body. The presence of a penetrating foreign object in the gastrointestinal tract can rapidly migrate to adjacent tissues, and prompt removal will prevent complications.
