Abstract: This work aims to design an adaptive controller for temperature control in a psychrometric tunnel. The control is performed through simulation, using a tunnel model obtained with real data from the system, through parameter estimation with the recursive least squares algorithm. A Dahlin adaptive PID controller is designed for tunnel temperature control. In this project, the tunnel parameters are estimated by the recursive least squares algorithm, using the control variable and the output obtained from the tunnel model as data. From the estimated parameters, the parameters of the Dahlin PID controller are obtained. The controller is implemented through a computer program and the results are shown as the output curves of the system under the action of the designed adaptive controller and the error between the reference and the system output.
