CONTRIBUTOS SPINOZANOS À CRÍTICA AO CONCEITO DE IDENTIDADE SOCIAL
O objetivo do presente trabalho é o de problematizar o conceito de identidade social, usualmente mobilizado nas discussões sobre minorias e populações vulneráveis, a partir do pensamento de Spinoza (1632- 1677). A problematização que ora se propõe pretende por em xeque a concepção da identidade social enquanto essência, analisando também a relação entre identidade e o processo de individualização, a identidade social e o conceito spinozano de comum, bem como a possibilidade de se pensar um devir identitário capaz de fugir do essencialismo, mas sem desprezar a existência de humores ou temperamentos individuais e sociais, forjados pela experiência histórica. A metodologia consistirá na revisão bibliográfica sobre o tema, com incursões nos campos da filosofia e da sociologia

Abstract:
The aim of the present work is to problematize the concept of social identity, usually mobilized in discussions about minorities and vulnerable populations, based on Spinoza's (1632-1677) thinking. The problematization that is being proposed seeks to put into question the conception of social identity as essence, also analyzing the relationship between identity and the individualization process, social identity and the spinozano concept of common, as well as the possibility of thinking about an identity becoming able to escape essentialism, but without neglecting the existence of individual and social moods or temperaments, forged by historical experience. The methodology will consist of bibliographical review on the subject, with incursions in the fields of philosophy and sociology.
