CONTRIBUIÇÕES DO JORNALISMO LITERÁRIO PARA A CONSTRUÇÃO DE PÓS-MEMÓRIAS NA COLONIZAÇÃO PORTUGUESA NA ÁFRICA DO SÉCULO XX
No intuito de promover o cruzamento dos campos da Literatura e da Comunicação Social, o trabalho discute contribuições de livros recentemente lançados em Portugal que tematizam o retorno de cidadãos portugueses que viveram nas colônias até fins de 1975. Dezenas de livros escritos por filhos e netos desses ex-colonos têm se destacado como fenômenos de vendas, evidenciando a necessidade de reelaboração do trauma da partida emergencial das antigas possessões portuguesas para uma metrópole desconhecida e hostil e, ainda, a interessada recepção editorial da primeira geração de colonos. Esta, que ficou conhecida como a dos retornados, foi, a um tempo, algoz e vítima da colonização. Alguns dos autores são jovens jornalistas que se propuseram a realizar a tarefa de reconstruir memórias silenciadas de seus pais e avós não só pelo jornalismo literário como pela coleta de fotografias e documentos.

Abstract:
Aiming to promote the crossing between Literature and Social Communications fields, this work discusses contributions brought by books recently published in Portugal wich tematize the return of portuguese nationals who lived in former colonies until late 1975. Many books written by two generations of colonizers descendants have been outstanding as best-sellers, emerging the need of trauma elaboration, since an urgent run for the empire center took place at the time. There, they found a hostile environment, as the democratic Carnation Revolution had just ecloded. This first generation of colonizers was known as “the returned”, and was, a one time, foe and victim of the portuguese domination, specially in Africa. Some of the authors are young journalists who decided to endure the task of rebuilding muted memories of their parents and grandparents, not only by literary journalism as by collecting photographs and documents.
