CONTRIBUIÇÕES DE MICHAEL POLANYI PARA A EDUCAÇÃO
O presente trabalho consiste em
apresentar as contribuições de Michael Polanyi,
começando pela história da vida dele, que foi
uma pessoa com grande influência intelectual
do século XX. Ele foi cientista e filósofo húngaro
que apresenta sua epistemologia baseada no
conhecimento tácito. Mostra ainda, a visão do
próprio Polanyi em relação à objetividade plena
à qual foi adotada a ciência durante a revolução
científica do século XVIII, em que o mesmo
afirma que, o fazer científico não é plenamente
objetivo e neutro como afirmam alguns filósofos
e cientistas. Além de apresentar a filosofia,
o conhecimento pessoal, a dimensão tácita
e algumas contribuições de suas ideias para
a educação tanto do ponto de vista do aluno
quanto do educador. Sendo que o objetivo
desse trabalho é de ementar a contribuição de
Polanyi fazendo um paralelo com as implicações
para o projeto que será desenvolvido para a
dissertação de mestrado.

Abstract:
The present work consists of
presenting the contributions of Michael Polanyi,
beginning with the history of his life, who was
a person with great intellectual influence of the
twentieth century. He was a Hungarian scientist
and philosopher who presented his epistemology
based on tacit knowledge. It also shows
Polanyi’s own view of the full objectivity to which
science was adopted during the eighteenthcentury
scientific revolution in which it states
that scientific doing is not wholly objective and
neutral as some philosophers and scientists
claim. In addition to presenting the philosophy,
personal knowledge, the tacit dimension and
some contributions of his ideas for education
both from the point of view of the student and
the educator. The aim of this work is to highlight
the contribution of Polanyi by making a parallel
with the implications for the project that will be
developed for the master’s thesis.
