CONTRIBUIÇÕES DA PSICOLOGIA ESCOLAR E EDUCACIONAL PARA O MANEJO DOS TRANSTORNOS DO NEURODESENVOLVIMENTO
O trabalho tem como objetivo explicitar as contribuições da Psicologia Escolar e Educacional para a compreensão e manejo dos transtornos do neurodesenvolvimento. Inicialmente, apresentam-se os princípios teóricos e metodológicos do materialismo histórico-dialético e as concepções de Vygotsky, Luria e Leontiev sobre o desenvolvimento humano em suas relações com a educação. Em seguida, problematiza-se a atuação do profissional psicólogo face aos transtornos do neurodesenvolvimento, tendo em vista a medicalização das dificuldades escolares e o processo de mercantilização do ensino.

Abstract:
This chapter aims to explain the contributions of School and Educational Psychology to the understanding and management of neurodevelopmental disorders. Initially, the theoretical and methodological principles of historical-dialectical materialism are presented, as well as the thought of Vygotsky, Luria and Leontiev on human development, and its relationship with education. Then, the professional role of the psychologist in the face of neurodevelopmental disorders is problematized, considering the medicalization of school difficulties and the process of teaching mercantilization.
