CONTRIBUIÇÕES DA FONÉTICA E DA FONOLOGIA PARA O DESENVOLVIMENTO DA FLUÊNCIA LEITORA
A Fonética e a Fonologia são ramificações da Linguística, visam estudar os sons e como eles se articulam na formação de palavras, são duas ciências indispensáveis para a aquisição de uma língua. Diante desse fato, procurei enfatizar a importância desses estudos para o desenvolvimento da fluência leitora, bem como apresentar uma análise e reflexão de como os livros didáticos têm abordado esses estudos. A leitura é um processo cognitivo complexo que abrange vários segmentos: fonético, fonológico, morfológico, sintático e semântico, porém, é possível observar que os livros didáticos dos anos finais do Ensino Fundamental têm priorizado os aspectos morfológicos e sintáticos, deixando os estudos da Fonética e da Fonologia em segundo plano. Muitos alunos que chegam aos anos finais do Ensino Fundamental ainda apresentam muitas dificuldades em leitura, a Fonética e a Fonologia poderiam contribuir grandemente para o desenvolvimento dessa habilidade. Essa reflexão se pautará em estudos bibliográficos e na análise dos livros didáticos, referentes aos anos escolares: 7º, 8º e 9º, da Geração Alpha, dos autores Everaldo Nogueira, Greta Marchetti, Maria Virgínia Scopacasa, Mirella Cleto e Cibele Loprest Costa.

Abstract:
Phonetics and Phonology are ramifications of Linguistics, they aim to study sounds and how they are articulated in the formation of words, they are two indispensable sciences for the acquisition of a language. Given this fact, I tried to emphasize the importance of these studies for the development of reading fluency, as well as to present an analysis and reflection of how textbooks have approached these studies. Reading is a complex cognitive process that encompasses several segments: phonetic, phonological, morphological, syntactic, and semantic, however, it is possible to observe that the textbooks of the final years of Elementary School have prioritized the morphological and syntactic aspects, leaving the studies of Phonetics and phonology in the background. Many students who reach the final years of Elementary School still have many difficulties in reading, Phonetics and Phonology could contribute greatly to the development of this skill. This reflection will be guided by bibliographic studies and the analysis of textbooks, referring to the school years: 7th, 8th, and 9th, of the Alpha Generation, by the authors Everaldo Nogueira, Greta Marchetti, Maria Virgínia Scopacasa, Mirella Cleto, and Cibele Loprest Costa
