Abstract: Fairs are an important place for the sale of products produced through family agriculture. The Family Agriculture Fair in the municipality of Inconfidentes, Minas Gerais, is the object of study, which seeks to verify its contribution to achieving the 2 2030 Agenda, specifically SDG 2 (the fight against hunger and sustainable agriculture). The work provides a historical overview of Policies aimed at Food Security and Nutritional already implemented in Brazil, an approach to family agriculture in the country, and the correlation of existing family agriculture fairs with the goals contained in SDG 2. For carrying out the FEIRIN (Feira da Agricultura Familiar de Inconfidentes) case study, weekly visits were carried out, participation in meetings with farmers, and information was obtained from the Municipal Government, which allowed the verification of FEIRIN's contribution to farmers' income and autonomy. The direct contribution to Food Security and Nutritiona from the city's residents is notable, as the fair offers healthy and safe products. The development of a project that deals with the facilitated acquisition of products by families in situations of social vulnerability can contribute to goal 2.1 of the SDG, being an area to be improved for FEIRIN. Therefore, family agriculture fairs are essential for achieving the 2030 Agenda.
