CONTRIBUIÇÃO DAS RPPNS PARA A EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL DE GERAÇÕES ATUAIS E FUTURAS
Esta pesquisa sobre Educação Ambiental em RPPN iniciou em 2004 quando da publicação do Caderno 28 da Reserva da Biosfera da Mata Atlântica, compondo o capítulo 6 e foi então retomada no ano de 2021 avaliando o Painel de Educação Ambiental do VI Congresso Brasileiro de RPPN, o Livro Virtual das RPPN e outras fontes. O objetivo é identificar as RPPNs que atuam com Educação Ambiental de modo a valorizar aquelas que se dedicam a atividades educativas. A metodologia utilizada foi a pesquisa exploratória bibliográfica analisando bancos de dados de informações da internet, publicações realizadas e em elaboração e contatos com gestores de RPPNs. Nos resultados foi inicialmente apresentada uma síntese das RPPNs contempladas no Caderno 28 da RBMA. Foi também citado o livro da RPPN Fazenda Lagoa dos anos 2010 com um capítulo especialmente dedicado à Educação Ambiental. Em seguida foram considerados o Painel de Educação Ambiental no VI CBRPPN e o Livro Virtual das RPPNs, em elaboração, projetos estes dos anos 2020, assim como outras informações obtidas com gestores de RPPNs e banco de dados virtuais. Nas conclusões foram identificadas 49 RPPN de 14 estados e de todas as 5 regiões do Brasil que vem desenvolvendo atividades de educação ambiental ou já as realizaram e que a maioria desta são do Bioma Mata Atlântica. Ao longo da elaboração desta retrospectiva ficou bem evidente que há um vasto campo de pesquisa de modo a expandir o conhecimento sobre as RPPNs que atuam em Educação Ambiental.

Abstract:
This paper is the outcome of a research that started in 2004 addressing Environmental Education activities, projects and programmes developed in Brazilian Private Natural Heritage Reserve (RPPNs) and published in Brochure 28 of the Atlantic Forest Biosphere Reserve Council (CNRBMA), chapter 6. In 2021 the research followed with the appraisal of the Panel on Environmental Education of the 6th RPPNs Brazilian Congress and the Virtual Book on RPPNs being drawn up as well as other sources. The purpose of this chapter is to identify the RPPNs that develop Environmental Education projects and activities in order to value their performance. The methodology applied has been literature search analysing database in Web Sites and Social Media, publications done and ongoing and contact with RPPN Managers. The research results at first have been presented a synthesis of the RPPNs described in Brochure 28 CNRBMA. The RPPN Fazenda Lagoa Book, with a special chapter on Environment Education, has also been quoted. Following, 2020 the Environmental Education Panel of the 6th Brazilian RPPN Congress has been evaluated and the ongoing RPPN Virtual Book, as well as other information given by RPPN managers and virtual databases, have been analyzed. In the conclusions, 49 RPPNs from 14 Brazilian states in all 5 Brazilian regions have been identified as developing environmental projects and activities most of them from the Atlantic Forest Biome. Throughout the process of drawing up this retrospective, it became evident that there is a broad field of research in order to broaden the knowledge on RPPNS contributing to Environmental Education.
