Abstract: Studies related to adult education are brought in an analysis of the practical part on andragogy in adult education as presented in this article on experience in a school in RJ in EJA (Education of Youth and Adults) in the high school segment. The foundation is brought through by several authors in an approach to andragogy, with the proposed organization and structure in agreement with the classroom practice in all aspects analyzed, making the considerations of theoretical bases consolidated in practices in a very noticeable representation, an experience that is seen in proposals from different segments, however, here dealing more related to High School, when the adult seeks the conclusion of Basic Education I try different reasons, whether related to work and personal needs, the continuation of studies, the updating of "lost" content, a social repositioning as a student, among other reasons.
