CONTEXTUALIZAÇÃO DE PRÁTICAS DE EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL NA MODALIDADE EJA NA E.E.EF.M. JOÃO CAETANO NO MUNICÍPIO DE BAYEUX-PB
Diante das transformações
ambientais e da concepção que a escola
é um ambiente para estabelecer conexões
e compartilhamento de informações, a
necessidade de se inserir a educação ambiental
nas escolas é indispensável para a mobilização
na preservação do meio ambiente. Para tanto, foi
concebido um estudo com discentes do ensino
médio da Educação Jovens e Adultos da Escola
Estadual de Ensino Fundamental e Médio João
Caetano, localizada no município de Bayeux –
PB. Este trabalho buscou, através das práticas,
inserir os discentes na realidade do munícipio,
contribuindo também para a formação de
cidadãos ativos e críticos com as questões
ambientais. Deste modo, foram aplicados
questionários e, por conseguinte, obtidos
dados acerca da visão daqueles estudantes
em relação ao meio ambiente e o papel do
corpo escolar frente a temas ambientais. Em
seguida, em comum acordo com a direção da
escola, foram utilizadas inserções nas aulas
de química, principalmente, para realizar as
atividades transversais de Educação ambiental.
Além disso, palestras e oficinas fizeram com
que estudantes vivenciassem e colocassem
a “mão na massa”, praticando a reciclagem, o
reuso e o reaproveitamento de resíduos sólidos.
As atividades experimentais despertaram nos
discentes o senso que o reaproveitamento
de resíduos, além de contribuir com o meio
ambiente, também é capaz de gerar renda
para família e para comunidade através de
cooperativas. Importante destacar a validade
de uma atividade transversal atrelada ao
ensino de química, visto em muitos momentos
termos uma ineficiência desta prática e a falta
de capacitação de docentes para desenvolver
atividade como essa.

Abstract:
Faced with the environmental transformations and the conception that
the school is an environment to establish connections and information sharing, the
need to insert environmental education in schools is indispensable for mobilization
in the preservation of the environment. For that, a study was designed with high
school students of the Young and Adult Education of the State School of Primary and
Secondary Education João Caetano, located in the city of Bayeux - PB. Through the
practices, this work sought to include students in the reality of the municipality, also
contributing to the formation of active and critical citizens with environmental issues. In
this way, questionnaires were applied and, consequently, data were obtained about the
students’ vision regarding the environment and the role of the school body in relation
to environmental issues. Then, in agreement with the direction of the school, insertions
in the chemistry classes were used, mainly, to carry out the transversal activities of
Environmental education. In addition, lectures and workshops have made students
experience and put their hands on the masses, practicing the recycling, reuse and
reuse of solid waste. Experimental activities have awakened in the students the sense
that the reuse of waste, besides contributing to the environment, is also capable of
generating income for the family and for the community through cooperatives. It is
important to highlight the validity of a transversal activity linked to the teaching of
chemistry, since in many instances we have an inefficiency of this practice and the lack
of training of teachers to develop activity like this.
