CONSUMO SUSTENTÁVEL DE MATERIAIS: CONHECIMENTOS DE QUÍMICA E SUA CONTRIBUIÇÃO PARA A SOCIEDADE COM CIDADANIA.
Os conhecimentos químicos devem apontar para a formação de um
cidadão cada vez mais comprometido com a sustentabilidade, principalmente
nesses anos iniciais do novo século, de forma que suas práticas e atitudes
corroborem com o planejamento social, na busca de uma sociedade mais justa e
organizada. A proposta de se utilizar Consumo de Materiais, conhecendo métodos
de uso e reuso, descarte correto destes, baseado no aprendizado da escola, como
também sobre tratamento adequado da água e do lixo, se justifica na crescente
necessidade de se ter no convívio escolar a possibilidade de abordagem relativa à
racionalidade de uso, principalmente nessa região – Nordeste. O trabalho foi
realizado na E.E.E.F.M. Irmã Joaquina Sampaio, na cidade de Campina Grande-PB,
desenvolvido pelas turmas 1º A e 1º B, do turno Manhã, no ano de 2016, se
estendendo às dependências da escola e à comunidade circunvizinha, visando
fornecer informações a essa comunidade e com os conhecimentos de química
adquiridos na escola, atuar na mudança de atitudes, com noções importantes
sobre uso, produção, escassez, economia e obtenção desses materiais, naturais ou
artificiais. As informações que são adquiridas na escola são cruciais para se ter tais
cuidados e conhecer os reais processos que ocorrem para se ter tudo que
consumimos, principalmente alimentos e água, em quantidade e qualidade que
favoreçam o bem estar social. Foram realizadas aulas com os conteúdos
curriculares a serem contextualizados, visitas técnicas, pesquisa de campo,
produção de textos e confecção de cartazes e livretos informativos, divulgados na
Escola e na comunidade escolar.

Abstract:
Chemical knowledge should point to the formation of a citizen who is
increasingly committed to sustainability, especially in the early years of the new
century, so that his practices and attitudes corroborate with social planning, in the
search for a more just and organized. The proposal to use Material Consumption,
knowing methods of use and reuse, correct disposal of these, based on the school's
learning, as well as about the adequate treatment of water and garbage, is justified
by the growing need to have in the school community the possibility of approach
regarding the rationality of use, mainly in this region - Northeast. The work was
carried out in E.E.E.F.M. Sister Joaquina Sampaio, in the city of Campina Grande-PB,
developed by classes 1º A and 1º B, of the Morning shift, in 2016, extending to the
school premises and to the surrounding community, aiming to provide information
to this community and the chemical knowledge acquired at school, acting on
changing attitudes, with important notions about the use, production, scarcity,
economy and obtaining of these materials, natural or artificial. The information that
is acquired in the school is crucial to have such care and to know the real processes
that occur to have everything we consume, mainly food and water, in quantity and
quality that favor social welfare. Classes were given with the curricular contents to
be contextualized, technical visits, field research, text production and the production
of posters and informative booklets, published in the School and in the school
community.
