CONSULTA DE ENFERMAGEM: UMA ESTRATÉGIA PARA ENFRENTAMENTO DA SÍFILIS
A sífilis é doença infecciosa crônica, que desafia a humanidade há séculos. Acomete praticamente todos os órgão e sistemas, e, apesar de ter tratamento eficaz e de baixo custo, vem-se mantendo como problema de saúde pública até os dias atuais. No Brasil, nos últimos cinco anos, foram observados um aumento constante no número de casos de sífilis em gestantes, congênita e adquirida, que pode ser atribuído, em parte, pelo aumento da cobertura de testagem, com a ampliação do uso de testes rápidos, redução do uso de preservativo, resistência dos profissionais de saúde à administração da penicilina na Atenção Básica, desabastecimento mundial de penicilina, entre outros. Além disso, o aprimoramento do sistema de vigilância pode se refletir no aumento de casos notificados tornando os dados mais fidedignos. O objetivo deste estudo foi demonstrar a importância do profissional enfermeiro no diagnóstico precoce durante a consulta de enfermagem. Foi aplicado questionários à 16 enfermeiros, que atuam em Estratégia Saúde da Família, sobre a sua atuação na consulta de enfermagem nos casos de sífilis.

Abstract:
The syphilis is chronic infectious disease, that challenges there are centuries the humanity. All practically attack the organ and systems, and, in spite of having effective treatment and of low cost, it is staying as problem of public health to the current days. In Brazil, in the last five years, a constant increase was observed in the number of cases of syphilis in pregnant women, congenital and acquired, that it can be attributed, partly, for the increase of the testing, covering with the enlargement of the use of fast tests, reduction of the preservative use, resistance of the professionals of health to the administration of the penicillin in the Basic Attention, world shortage of penicillin, among others. Besides, the enhancement of the surveillance system can be reflected in the increase of notified cases. The objective of this study was to demonstrate the professional nurse’s importance in I diagnose him/it precocious during the nursing consultation. They were appraised 16 volunteers (both sexes) nurses. After they answer a questionnaire on the importance of the consultation of the nursing in the cases of syphilis.
