Abstract: This paper reports on experiences lived by high school students when the content of electrical circuits and electronics is taught through practical workshops, combining theory and experimentation. The work is the result of an extension partnership between the IFPB Campus Cajazeiras and the municipality's state schools, focusing on 3rd year classes, where study concepts of electrical circuits, electronic prototyping and basic equipment repairs. In addition to dynamic learning through montages, conceptual reviews were made on the topic, aiming to prepare for the ENEM. The methodology consisted of theoretical workshops assisted by simulation in the classroom and then practical workshops in the Electronics Laboratory. In total, there three groups that tried out the teaching methodology and three assemblies were carried out in each workshop. At the end of the project, a web questionnaire was administered to assess student satisfaction with the methodology experienced. The results of the satisfaction survey show that students felt motivated to study the subject and that there was an approach to the world of technology and exact sciences, anticipating experiences of higher education and the world of work.
