CONSTRUÇÃO DE SALA TEMÁTICA PARA PROMOÇÃO DE UMA APRENDIZAGEM SIGNIFICATIVA NO ENSINO DE BOTÂNICA EM ESCOLAS
Muitos professores encontram dificuldades para abordar os conteúdos de Botânica e desenvolver atividades que despertem a curiosidade dos alunos e os levem a relacionar o assunto às suas atividades cotidianas. Dessa maneira, o trabalho objetivou em construir uma sala temática representando a evolução das plantas para contextualizar as características gerais, reprodução, classificação e evolução dos grupos, assim, promover uma aprendizagem mais significativa e fomentar o ensino de botânica no ensino médio. O trabalho foi realizado com alunos do 3º ano do ensino médio de uma escola pública do município de Nova Marilândia – MT. Em um primeiro momento o tema foi proposto aos alunos com a seguinte indagação: “Podemos observar diferenças entre as plantas? Quais?”. Diante da problemática, os alunos realizaram uma breve discussão sobre o assunto e foram encaminhados ao laboratório de informática para a realização das pesquisas com o objetivo de coletar informações e imagens para ter contato com o conteúdo e, assim, fazer uma associação com o seu dia a dia. Em um segundo momento, o processo investigativo partiu de outro questionamento: “Então, quais grupos de plantas posso encontrar na cidade, no sitio e/ou no quintal de casa?”. Assim, os alunos foram instigados a investigar a presença dessas plantas no cotidiano e coletar exemplares de cada grupo para a exposição na sala temática. Para a construção da sala temática foram necessários alguns materiais como, cartolinas, tnt e cortinas na cor verde para cobrir as paredes, lâmpadas verdes e ripas de madeiras para montar o cladograma no piso da sala. A criação da sala temática representando a evolução das plantas demonstrou ser uma atividade em que houve a participação eminente dos alunos e extremamente prazerosa para se ensinar e aprender Botânica, nessa perspectiva, superando os desafios e as dificuldades que se tem de ensinar Botânica.

Abstract:
Many teachers find it difficult to approach the contents of Botany and develop activities that arouse the students' curiosity and lead them to relate the subject to their daily activities. In this way, the work aimed to build a thematic room representing the evolution of plants to contextualize the general characteristics, reproduction, classification and evolution of the groups, thus promoting a more meaningful learning and fomenting the teaching of Botany in High School. The work was carried out with students from the 3rd year of High School of a public school in the municipality of Nova Marilândia - MT. At first, the theme was proposed to the students with the following question: “Can we observe differences between plants? Which ones?" Faced with the problem, the students held a brief discussion about the subject and they were sent to the computer lab to carry out the researches in order to collect informations and images to have contact with the content and thus make an association with their day by day. In a second moment, the investigative process started from another question: "So, which groups of plants can I find in the city, on the farm and/or in the backyard?" Thus, the students were encouraged to investigate the presence of these plants in their daily lives and collect specimens from each group for the exhibition in the thematic room. For the construction of the thematic room some materials were needed, such as cardboard, TNT and green curtains to cover the walls, green lamps and wooden slats to assemble the cladogram on the room floor. The creation of the thematic room representing the evolution of plants proved to be an activity in which there was the eminent participation of the students and extremely pleasurable to teach and learn Botany, in this perspective, overcoming the challenges and difficulties that one has to teach Botany.
