CONJUNTO ARQUITETÔNICO DO LARGO E BECO DO BOTICÁRIO (RJ): UMA RUÍNA ESQUECIDA?
A proposta do artigo é refletir acerca
do Conjunto Arquitetônico do Largo e Beco
do Boticário com base em dois conceitos do
filósofo Paul Ricoeur, a saber, o vestígio e o
esquecimento de reserva, sendo o primeiro
teorizado na obra Tempo e Narrativa III (2010)
e o segundo, na obra A memória, a história, o
esquecimento (2007). Será apresentado um
breve histórico sobre o local para em seguida
reter as análises com base na teoria de Paul
Ricoeur. Por último, algumas considerações
sobre o Largo e a escolha que se pretende fazer,
a partir do reconhecimento da sua condição
atual, em ruína.

Abstract:
The proposal of the article is to
reflect on the Architectural Complex of the Largo
and Beco do Boticario based on two concepts
of the philosopher Paul Ricoeur, namely, the
vestige and forgetfulness of reserve, being the
first theorized in the work Time and Narrative III (
2010) and the second, in the work The memory,
the history, the forgetfulness (2007). A brief
history of the place will be presented and then
retained on the basis of Paul Ricoeur’s theory.
Finally, some considerations about Largo and
the choice that one intends to make, from the
recognition of its present condition, to ruin.
