CONHECIMENTO SOBRE A PREVENÇÃO DO CÂNCER DE PELE ENTRE TRABALHADORES EM EXPOSIÇÃO SOLAR EXCESSIVA: UMA REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA
O câncer é uma enfermidade caracterizada por um tumor formado por células que sofreram uma transformação e multiplicam-se de maneira desordenada e anormal. O presente artigo tem como ênfase descrever um dos principais tipos dessa neoplasia, o câncer de pele. Dividido em basicamente dois tipos principais (melanoma e não melanoma), esse câncer atinge principalmente pessoas brancas, geralmente do sexo feminino e que aparece com a exposição prolongada e repetida à radiação ultravioleta do sol. Portanto, a proteção solar é a principal forma de prevenção da doença. O objetivo deste artigo foi realizar um levantamento bibliográfico sobre essa doença, a fim de entender suas características e a diferença entre seus tipos. Foi realizada uma pesquisa exploratória por meio de levantamentos bibliográficos buscando informações disponibilizadas em: livros de câncer de pele, artigos sobre a prevenção dessa doença. Também foi realizada uma entrevista com um especialista na doença e um trabalhador com exposição excessiva ao sol. Conclui verificando que ainda existe pouco conhecimento sobre a prevenção entre os trabalhadores.

Abstract:
Cancer is a disease characterized by a tumor formed by cells that have undergone a transformation and multiply in a disordered and abnormal manner. This article focuses on describing one of the main types of this neoplasm, skin cancer. Divided into basically two main types (melanoma and non-melanoma), this cancer affects mainly white people, usually females and that appears with prolonged and repeated exposure to ultraviolet radiation from the sun. Therefore, sun protection is the main form of disease prevention. The objective of this article was to carry out a bibliographic survey on this disease, in order to understand its characteristics and the difference between its types. An exploratory research was carried out through bibliographic surveys looking for information available in: skin cancer books, articles on the prevention of this disease. An interview was also conducted with a specialist in the disease and a worker with excessive exposure to the sun. It concludes by verifying that there is still little knowledge about prevention among workers.
