CONHECIMENTO, RESPONSABILIDADE SOCIAL E SUSTENTABILIDADE – PILARES PARA A CIDADANIA NO SÉCULO XXI
Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar uma revisão da literatura
realizada acerca do tema conhecimento, responsabilidade social e sustentabilidade
enquanto pilares para a cidadania no século XXI. A questão do estudo está centrada
nos desafios colocados para as universidades de contribuírem para a construção de
uma sociedade sustentável através da produção do conhecimento. Com esta análise
teórica e bibliográfica, identificou-se a fragilidade das instituições de Ensino Superior
na sua relação com as demandas sociais e a efetivação de uma sociedade justa.

Abstract:
This article aims to present a literature review on the subject of
knowledge, social responsibility and sustainability as pillars for citizenship in the 21st
century. The issue of the study is centered on the challenges posed for universities
to contribute to building a sustainable society through the production of knowledge.
With this theoretical and bibliographical analysis, the fragility of higher education
institutions was identified in its relationship with social demands and the realization
of a just society.
